LEBANON, Mo. -- The Lebanon R-3 Board of Education unanimously voted today to fire a Lebanon High School teacher accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a teenage student.
30-year-old Elizabeth Morgan was arrested on Jan. 12 for allegedly having an inappropriate relationship with one of her male students.
Morgan, who was a drama teacher at LHS, had been suspended from work since Jan. 5 when an investigation was launched into the alleged relationship.
According to police, the student came forward with electronic evidence which led to Morgan's arrest.
She is currently out on bail.
