LAKE OZARK, Mo. -- A large structure fire at the Southwood Shores Condominiums in Lake Ozark broke out early this morning.
Around 1:59 a.m., the Lake Ozark Protection was dispatched to the fire where first units on scene reported flames showing.
According to Assistant Chief Matt Birdsley, firefighters had to go to a defensive attack on the building due to the amount of fire.
Firefighters battled the blaze on land and by boat, using Fire Boat 21 to float on Lake Ozark.
One tenant of the condos was transported to Lake Regional Hospital by a Miller County Ambulance for treatment for smoke inhalation.
The fire has been contained to one building.
According to the Lake Ozark Fire Protection District's Facebook, all units have cleared the scene.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
