KANSAS CITY, Mo – After 10 years of service with the Kansas City Police Department, a golden retriever named Wendy is getting a well-deserved sweet treat.
The Kansas City Police Department posted on Facebook a celebration of one of their K9 Officers retiring on Wednesday.
Wendy spent 10 years with the department sniffing out drugs.
At her retirement party though, she had a sweet treat to sniff out, a cake made by a local bakery and a gift basket.
