STONE COUNTY, Mo.- More of the incomplete homes in the Indian Ridge development near Branson are being torn down. But efforts to preserve others are underway.
The homes were part of a more than 800,000 acre proposed development.
All the incomplete home sites are in an area called "Parcel 34," and are owned by a company based in Arkansas.
Stone County officials say the City agreed to tear down two of the homes and board up the other buildings for safety purposes.
The County is working on an intergovernmental agreement with Branson West to resolve issues surrounding the project.
