SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Here are some events happening around the area today.

56th Annual Willard Freedom Fest at Jackson Street Park in Willard. Continuing tradition of this celebration full of food, fun and fireworks. Event is free.

Independence Day Parade and Celebration from 4-10 p.m. at 211 E. Center in Rogersville. Parade begins at 5 p.m., inflatables and games begin at 6 and fireworks begin at dark. 

Star Wars Trivia in the Park from 1-2 p.m. at Sequiota Park on Lone Pine Avenue. Trivia will include the movies and a few from the books. $5 admission go towards helping sexual assault victims through Me Too Springfield. 

Fix it Fair at MidTown Carnegie Branch Library on East Central Street from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Come check out how to repair those broken items. 

Repticon Springfield Reptile and Exoctic Animal Show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Shrine Mosque. Offers reptile pets, suppliers, feeders, cages. live animal seminars and more. Admission ranges from free to $10.
