Greene County Traffic Stop Ends in Humor and a Warning

GREENE COUNTY, Mo. -- The Greene County Sheriff's Office has been featured on A&E's tv series 'Live PD' over the last few months.

The show recently posted a video to Twitter showing a traffic stop that had some unexpected humor.

Sheriff's Deputy Tommy Connell stopped a man for not using a turn signal and having expired tags.

Connell noticed the man had attached strings to his windshield wipers that moved them back in forth because the motor had stopped working.

Connell said he was impressed how he quote, "MacGyvered it up" but said he needed to get it fixed soon and get his vehicle registered.

The man was let off with a warning.
