SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Lori Enyart with the Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland joins KOLR10 Daybreak to talk about several exciting upcoming things for the Scouts.

We are planning a large multi troop drive-through booth at Community Blood Center of the Ozarks on Saturday, February 27th from 10:00- 6:00 to celebrate National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend.
Cookie sales start this Friday, February 19th.

The Girl Scout Cookie Program is the biggest girl-led business in the world! When a girl sells a box of Girl Scout cookies to a customer she is doing so much more that providing a yummy treat. Through participation in the Cookie Program girls are learning five essential life skills: goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics.

It’s the tastiest time of the year – Girl Scout cookie time! The Girl Scout Cookie Program has begun with local Girl Scouts going door-to-door to take your order. The Girl Scout Cookie Program runs through April 3, 2016 and includes nine delicious flavors.

The Gluten-free Trios are available only during booth sales at local merchants beginning February 19, 2016.  All Girl Scout Cookies are $5 per box and all proceeds stay within our council to support our local Girl Scouts.
