RIDGEDALE, Mo. — Firefighters had to use water from Table Rock Lake to put out a fire that heavily damaged a home in Taney County Wednesday.
Firefighters from Western Taney County and Southern Stone County fire districts fought the fire for several hours. It was reported shortly after 3pm on Amanda Road in Ridgedale, Missouri.
Western Taney County used its fireboat to pump water more than 500 feet up a steep hill to fight the fire.
The three story home was being remodeled. Fire officials say one construction work had a minor injury. The State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause.
