Endangered Person Advisory Issued for Camdenton Woman

CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. – A 40-year-old Camdenton woman and her ex-husband are being sought by Camden County officials after an endangered person advisory was released Tuesday for the woman reported missing by a male friend.

Lesley Rogers was last seen Saturday evening and was believed to have met Sunday evening with her ex-husband – Phillip Rogers, 44, of Camdenton – to discuss child custody. The pair were scheduled to appear in court today (6-21-17) in a custody dispute, according to Camden County sheriff’s officer Lt. Arlyne Page.

Rogers’ car was discovered abandoned at Camelot Estates in Camdenton on Monday morning.

She is described as a white woman, 5 foot 3 inches tall, weighing 110 pounds, with blue eyes and blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a while sleeveless shirt, shorts and flip flops, according to the advisory issued by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Page said a woman contacted the sheriff’s office by phone to say she was Lesley Rogers and was fine, but the identity of the woman could not be confirmed and the advisory will remain active until officers can contact her and confirm her status.

The sheriff’s office is asking Lesley Rogers to contact them again, preferably in person, to clear up the issue, Page said.

The advisory asks that anyone seeing Lesley Rogers, Phillip Rogers or their vehicles, or anyone having any information related to her disappearance immediately dial 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency or call the Camden County Sheriff's Office at (573) 346-2243.

Phillip Rogers is described as a white male, age 44, 5 foot 9ne inches tall, weighing 175 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. His vehicle is thought to be a 2012 GMC Sierra bearing Missouri license plate number 0CY975.

In an unrelated matter, a warrant for her arrest is active in connection with failure to abide by probation and parole requirement in a Laclede County driving-while-intoxicated case.
