Cyclist Hit, Car Driver Takes off in Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA) - A person on a bicycle was hit by a vehicle on Monday, April 23, according to Fayetteville Police Department.

Police said after the cyclist was hit the driver of the vehicle took off. 

The hit and run took place near the intersection of Garland and North Street around 1:30 p.m.

The cyclist was transported to the hospital. Their injuries are unknown at this time. 

The details of the vehicle have not been released at this time.
