The construction was originally slated to begin back in June but he spring's flooding put MoDOT's plans on delay.

Project crews will be changing the intersection at Route 76 and Route 160 to a roundabout to relocate the bridge west of the standing structure.

Route 76 will remain open during the new construction of the bridge with possible one-lane traffic at times it is connecting to the new bridge.

The project is estimated to cost $10 million and be completed in the fall of 2018.
