UPDATE: Christian County Sheriff’s Office stated in a post on facebook this morning that Lewis P. Barnett IV has been taken into custody last night near Oldfield.

They want to thank the community for the numerous tips they received that led to the capture.

WANTED PERSON: Lewis P. Barnett IV (homeless) is wanted in Christian County for investigation of multiple burglaries. 

Barnett is 38 years old, 6ft tall 200lbs, with short dark hair. 

Barnett has felony warrants out of Webster and Taney Counties for possession of methamphetamine and weapons violations. Barnett should be considered armed and dangerous. If you know the whereabouts of Lewis P. Barnett IV please call 9-1-1 or the Christian County Sheriff’s Office at (417) 582-5330.
