SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Burrell Behavioral Health has announced a statewide conference to address the growing need for a better treatment for the opioid epidemic.
The conference titled "Integration & Change: Transforming the Opioid Epidemic in Missouri," will be held on October 11, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will be hosted at the University Plaza Hotel and Convention Center.
Speakers from around the state as well as national expert and author, Dr. Omar Manejwala, will be featured. The conference is geared toward leaders throughout the state from a variety of fields. They will learn from experts in the addiction recovery field, take home regional case studies and cultivate new connections to address the needs in their own community.
