12th Annual Hot Air Balloon Glow Lights up Finley River Park

OZARK, Mo. -- It's the 12th Hot Air Balloon Glow at the Finley River Park.

Hot air balloons were lit around 8:30.

This is not a launch,  just a glow. The balloons do not take flight and people can't ride them but you can still get up close.

You can get in them and take great pictures.

The hot air balloon glow benefits the Children's Smile Center which provides dental care to children and pregnant women covered by Medicaid in Christian, Stone, Taney, Dade, Barry and Lawrence County.

This served 6,200 kids last year.

Tomorrow is the 18th annual Sertoma Duck Race Festival that runs through Sunday.

The duck race benefits Care to Learn Ozark and the Christian County family crisis center.

Saturday night is Christian County's largest fireworks show with food trucks, music, beer garden and vendor booth, pie eating contest, rides for the kids and a car show.

Last year 25,000 people attended over the weekend.
