Woman sentenced in federal court for distribution of meth in Springfield


SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A Marshfield woman was sentenced in federal court for her involvement in a conspiracy to distribute meth.

Jami Deam will spend the next nine years in prison after being convicted of transporting meth and heroin between 2014 and 2018.

Deam admitted that she had traveled to Texas, Arizona, California and St. Louis, Missouri numerous times to transport the drugs to Springfield.
