Woman Charged with Stealing in Osage Beach

OSAGE BEACH, Mo. – A woman has been charged after admitting to stealing jewelry and cash.

Regina M. Pryor, 36, of Sunrise Beach, Missouri admitted to stealing a diamond bracelet valued almost $10,000 and almost $3,800 in cash when she worked at Kays Jewelers, prior to the store closing.

During the investigation, Pryor said during the second week of December 2018 when the bracelet arrived at the store, she took the bracelet and removed it from inventory. Pryor admitted this bracelet being valued at almost $10,000 and said she still had the bracelet and was willing to return it.

Regarding the almost $3,800 in cash, another employee purchased 3 items totaling $5,046.22, Pryor intentionally left one of the items off the sale, keeping $3,785.62, the value of the item and then removed the item from inventory.

Pryor was taken into custody after officered responded to the theft call on January 10, 2019.
