A few storms are ongoing this morning in OK and continue to move closer to the Ozarks. Most of these storms will weaken as they move away from the low level jet west of the region. A few isolated storms will be possible today otherwise most of today will be dry but very windy.
Highs today will jump back into the low 80’s with partly cloudy skies and winds out of the south at 20-30 mph.
Thursday looks like a much quieter day with highs warming into the middle 80’s with more sunshine and lighter winds.
Two sounds of rain are set to move through the Ozarks over the early parts of the weekend. Friday looks more like an off and on rain with a slight chance for severe weather Friday night. At this point hail looks like the main hazard. The heaviest rain comes in late Friday into Saturday morning with scattered storms possible during the afternoon Saturday.
