This afternoon’s batch of showers and thunderstorms quickly faded away this evening as temperatures cooled back into the 60s. The rest of the night will feature clear and cool conditions. Temperatures will slip to near 50° by sunrise.
Thursday will be a perfect day to be outdoors. Sunny skies, low humidity and highs in the mid-70s will make for ideal conditions for outdoor plans.
The mild weather will hang on into Friday, but the pattern will begin shifting gears. Friday looks partly to mostly cloudy with a few light showers possible, but most areas will stay dry. Temperatures will be a touch warmer with highs in the upper 70s to near 80°. Humidity levels will remain low for one last day.
Heat and humidity will build by Saturday. We’ll start the day with scattered showers and storms. The rain should fade away by late morning with partly cloudy and hot conditions during the afternoon as readings slip into the mid to upper 80s. Humidity will be running high too.
More showers and thunderstorms will be possible overnight into Sunday morning. The pattern this weekend into next week will be an unsettled one. A front will be located nearby with high levels of moisture fueling shower and thunderstorm chances. All they’ll need is a trigger and it looks like we’ll have that on a daily basis as a steady stream of upper-level storms moves across the Ozarks.
We can expect a chance for showers and thunderstorms at times day and night through next week. It certainly won’t rain the whole time, but there will be storms around each day. Heavy rain will be possible and stronger storms will be possible as well. It looks like a general 2 to 4″ will be possible through next week. Warm and humid weather will stick around through the period too.
