VFW honors 100-year-old WWII veteran at Thanksgiving feast

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (News-Leader) – World War II veteran Vince Plaster celebrated his 100th birthday with family, friends and a Thanksgiving feast on Sunday.

He was the guest of honor at VFW Post 3404’s Thanksgiving dinner fundraiser this year.

Post Commander Al Wagner thanked the 100 people who had gathered there to dine. He was especially thankful to the veterans who risked their lives for the country, he said.
