UPDATE: Miller County Shooting Suspect Arrested in Jefferson City

UPDATE: The shooting suspect wanted in Miller County was apprehended yesterday in Jefferson City.

According to a news release, Devin Mckie was located and arrested in Jefferson City without incident.

Mckie has been charged with two counts of first degree assault and two counts of armed criminal action. Bond has been set at $300,000.

MILLER COUNTY, Mo. — The Miller County Sheriff’s Office is searching for the suspect in a shooting after two people arrived at a hospital with gunshot wounds.

According to a news release, the shooting happened near VFW Road in Miller County.

Witnesses say the shooting happened after a physical altercation between the victims and the suspect. 

The suspect was identified as 18-year-old Devin Mckie, a white male, from the Eldon area. As of now, Miller County authorities say he hasn’t been located and is possibly armed. He’s considered dangerous. 

Officials warn to not attempt to contact Mckie if they have information but to call the sheriff’s office at 573-369-2341 or the tip line at 573-552-7189.
