SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — United Way of the Ozarks’ 2018 fundraising compaign gets going later this morning.
The kick off event happens today at 11:30 a.m. at Founder’s Park in downtown Springfield.
Food and entertainment will be provided and the organization will announce their fundraising goal for the 20-18 season.
Last year, United Way raised $2. 7 million dollars to help invest into communities around southwest Missouri, reaching more than 289,000 people in need.
