BRANSON, Mo. – UPDATE: All services have been restored to all counties and towns.

ORIGINAL STORY:

A widespread 911 operating system outage is effecting nine counties in the Ozarks.

The counties effected include: Taney, Stone, Barry, Christian, Dallas, Dade, Dent, Laclede and Boone.

The Taney County 911 Administrator says the problem is an equipment issue in Jefferson City and that all their 911 calls are being re-routed to the dispatch center admin lines.

The City of Branson says the Branson Police Department is patrolling neighborhoods and the Branson Fire Department is aware of the situation and on standby.
