LAKE OF THE OZARKS – UPDATE: The two men were found dead in 68 feet of water at 11:33 Saturday morning.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol online drowning incident report, two men from the Louisiana area are dead after their boat capsized on the Lake of the Ozarks.
The incident occurred around the 10.3 mile mark on the main channel.
The 2013 MTI boat was traveling downstream and became airborne. The boat rolled to starboard in the air, struck the water and flipped upside down.
One occupant was ejected and one is believed to have remained in the boat.
Authorities received the call on Friday around 7 p.m.
The two missing boaters are the driver, 49-year-old Richard Prince, of Metaire, Louisiana and 40-year-old Bradley Dunphy, of Lafayette, Louisiana.
