GREENE COUNTY, Mo.- Two 24-year-old Springfield residents have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of Tyler Rambo, 28, of Springfield.
“We have worked straight through to get these suspects in custody. We hope this brings some resolution to the victim’s family and our community that these violent suspects are in jail,” said Sheriff Arnott.
Charges have been presented to the Greene County Prosecutors Office for review.
This search warrant was related to an ongoing investigation after Rambo was found dead at the Dayton Mobile Home Park on South Scenic Avenue, Saturday.
An autopsy is under conduction to determine the exact cause of his death.
Greene County detectives are continuing to follow up on leads.
In a statement last night, Sheriff Jim Arnott says the sheriff’s office had made great progress in 24 hours towards solving the shooting case.
The sheriff’s office also says deputies discovered credible information about the possibility of unknown explosives and possible explosive devices both inside an apartment and in vehicles located in the parking area.
The residents of the Old Monterey apartment complex were evacuated, but able to go back inside around 11:30 p.m., after fire marshals deemed the area safe.
