Trump Visits Jerusalem’s Western Wall


JERUSALEM — President Trump today became the first sitting U.S. President to visit Jerusalem’s Western Wall.

It’s part of his first international trip since taking office.

The president visited the Western Wall wearing a yarmulke and placed his hand on the wall before tucking a note into a crack in the wall.

President Trump today also met with Israeli President Reuven Rivlin and  Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The president will head to the West Bank tomorrow to meet with Palestinian Leader Mahmud Abbas.
