STONE COUNTY, Mo. – A heavily used bridge in Taney and Stone County is scheduled to close in a few weeks.
The Long Creek Bridge on Missouri 86 is set to close for thirty days beginning Monday, June 3.
The closing will allow MoDOT crews to make repairs to parts of the bridge that support the driving surface.
MoDOT said the bridge could be closed for up to thirty days.
The repairs will keep the bridge safe for travel until a long-term replacement or rehabilitation project can start as early as 2022.
