Sexually transmitted diseases are at an all-time high.  A new CDC report shows nearly 2.3 three million cases of chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis were diagnosed in the US last year.

But Dr. Gail Bolan, head of the CDC’s Division of Sexually Transmitted Disease Prevention, 
after decades of decline in STDs, in recent years  we have been sliding backwards . 

“Most cases go undiagnosed so they go untreated. These diseases can lead to infertility, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth, and increased HIV risk,” Bolin . says.


Smoking and drinking as a teenager could increase the risk of a heart attack or stroke later in life.    
Researchers in London found the combination of alcohol and smoke can damage arteries  by age 17 which can lead to heart problems.   
But they also found that if teenagers stopped smoking and drinking…. Their arteries can return to normal.

And want to live longer? A new study suggests you should take a vacation. 
A study from Finland looked at more than 1200 men over 40 years and found in one group men who took less vacation time had a higher chance of dying. 
Researchers say vacation can be a good way to relieve stress.
