In today’s top medical news – Why you may want to avoid a low carb diet and just how many of us are using E-cigarettes? 

More than 10 million people in the US use E-cigarettes. 
A new American Heart Association study shows more than half are under age 35 and 60-percent are men. 
E-cigarette use was also higher among people with cardiovascular disease, asthma and cancer and people who are gay, bisexual or transgender.

Deaths from overdoses and suicide are higher than deaths from diabetes in the United States.
That’s according to a new report in the journal Injury Prevention. 
Researchers say nationwide steps are necessary to address self-injury deaths which can be prevented. 

And the authors of a new large study say low carb  diets are not safe and should be avoided. 
Polish researchers found people who ate low carb were at higher risk of premature death and also had increased risk of death from heart disease, stroke, and cancer.
