News

Here’s a look at stories making headlines around the country this morning.

Our first headline comes from the Chicago Tribune.

It reads: Joe Paterno Allegedly Told Of Jerry Sandusky Molestation In ’76
Jerry Sandusky was the assistant football coach under Joe Paterno at Penn State.
He is in prison for molesting children during his time as a coach at Penn State.
And new information out this week – a judge said that insurers in litigation with Penn State claim a boy told Paterno in 1976 that he had been molested by Sandusky.
The crimes Sandusky was convicted of date back to the 90’s.  But this new information could mean the abuse could’ve been going on longer than we originally thought.

Our next headline comes from E Online.

It reads: Justin Timberlake’s ”Can’t Stop The Feeling” Is The Feel-Good Summertime Anthem You’ve Been Waiting For.   It’s the pop stars first new song since 2013.  You can watch it on YouTube here

And our final headline this morning comes from the New York Post
It reads: Kentucky Derby 2016: Here’s Who We Think Will Win
The horses for the 142nd running of the Kentucky Derby is set to take place Saturday at 5:24 p.m.
The purse is $2 million with the horses running the distance of only a one and one fourth mile.
Mor Spirit and Nyquist are favored to win in the early line.
