Chilly start earlier today but temperatures will reach the low 80’s by this afternoon. Storms cannot be ruled out later tonight and clouds continue to linger tonight with warm lows in the lower 60’s.
Tomorrow, a ridge, or warm, dry pattern in the jet stream, starts to nose into the Ozarks. It is weak, meaning the sunshine will be short-lived. Expect mostly sunny skies with warmer highs in the middle and upper 80’s. Lows tomorrow night will be in the low to mid 60’s again. Southerly winds could be a bit breezy. Enjoy the sunshine while it lasts because rains chances are back on Saturday.
Saturday, that warm, dry pattern starts to break down already (remember it was fairly weak), and storm chances return to the Ozarks. Widely scattered storms are possible mainly late on Saturday.
Southerly winds will be breezy continuing to bring warm, muggy air into the Ozarks so highs will continue to get into the upper 80’s. Lows for Saturday night will be in the low to mid 60’s for another night in a row.
Storm chances continue on Sunday as with highs a bit cooler in the lower to mid 80’s. The pattern stays unsettled Monday and Tuesday, meaning storm chances continue for most of the area. Highs will be a bit cooler in the lower 80’s.
