Bitter Cold Tonight, Warmer Weekend —
We started off the day with temperatures in the 30’s. Through the day, a cold front progressed south bringing colder temperatures through the afternoon and more cloud coverage. Overnight tonight clouds will clear out and temperatures will have a chance to drop into the upper single digits and lower teens. Winds will be out of the northwest at 10-15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph, wind chill temperatures will likely drop to or below zero.
Friday morning, be sure to bundle up as you head out the door with feel like temperatures in the lower single digits. Highs will top off around freezing under a mix of sun and clouds. Overnight temperatures will drop into the lower and middle 20’s.
Saturday, we will start out brief warm up with temperatures topping off in the lower and middle 40’s under a mix of sun and clouds. Overnight temperatures will drop into the upper 20’s and lower 30’s.
Sunday, temperatures will continue to rise with highs topping off in the middle and upper 40’s under mostly sunny skies. Sunday looks to be the best day of the weekend. Overnight lows will drop into the lower and middle 30’s.
Monday is our turning point for next week. Temperatures will top off in the middle 40’s with light rain expected. An arctic blast will come out of Canada and through the day, temperatures will drop quickly through the day. Rain will switch over to snow flurries with light accumulations possible. Overnight temperatures will drop into the upper single digits and lower teens.
We will not bounce back much through Wednesday. Tuesday and Wednesday’s highs will be in the 20’s with overnight lows in the lower teens.
