Lingering Clouds, More Sunshine This Weekend —
After a rainy and stormy early morning, rain showers stuck around south and east of I-44. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect until 7 p.m. Showers will linger through the evening hours and taper off through the overnight hours. We’ll keep the cloudy and cooler conditions with temperatures dropping into the lower 40’s. Gusty winds will also continue out of the north between 10-20 mph and gusts up to 30 mph.
Friday, clouds will thin out through the day and winds will continue out of the north from 10-20 mph and gusts up to 30 mph. Clouds, gusty winds and a cooler air mass in place will keep temperatures will the upper 50’s and lower 60’s for the Ozarks. Overnight temperatures will drop into the upper 30’s with a few mostly clear conditions.
Saturday, winds will shift out of the west and southwest, bringing in warmer air, so temperatures will warm up int he upper 60’s and lower 70’s with mostly sunny conditions. Overnight lows will drop into the lower 50’s.
Sunday, winds will pick up out of the south, so temperatures will continue to warm into the upper 70’s and lower 80’s with a mix of sun and clouds. We will likely stay dry through the day with a shower chance through the overnight hours.
Monday, temperatures will top off in the lower and middle 70’s with rounds of showers possible through the day. Otherwise, we will keep mostly cloudy conditions. Overnight lows will drop into the upper 50’s.
Tuesday and Wednesday look a lot like Monday, rounds of showers and storms possible, otherwise mostly cloudy with temperatures in the lower 70’s and overnight lows in the 50’s.
