Three rural fire protection districts receive almost $700,000

Mo. — Three rural fire protection districts in the Ozarks received almost $700,000 in a grant.

The three districts are Waynesville fire protection district, Hazelgreen fire protection district, & Tri-County fire protection district.

The grants will be used to add and retain more volunteers.

They will be able to pay their salaries, buy better equipment for volunteers, and even have an “accident insurance” for them.
