Three Killed, Thousands Displaced in Tennessee Wildfires

GATLINBURG, Tenn. — The worst fire to hit Tennessee in a hundred years has killed at least three people and sent more than a dozen to the hospital.

Fourteen-thousand fled as a wall of flames closed in on Gatlinburg.

One resort was destroyed.

The Dollywood theme park, named for Dolly Parton, was spared.

Gatlinburg officials say they are still conducting search-and-rescue operations.
