Suspect in Rolla Armed Robbery Investigation Arrested

ROLLA, Mo.- The Rolla Police Department has arrested the suspect in an armed robbery investigation.

Police say on Wednesday at 9:25 p.m. officers responded to Little Caesar’s Pizza at 1013 Kingshighway in Rolla after a white male entered the restaurant, displayed a handgun that was tucked inside his waistband and announced a robbery.

The suspect allegedly robbed the store of an undetermined amount of cash and fled on foot in an unknown direction of travel.

During the investigation and with the aid of surveillance video, investigators were able to identify the robbery suspect as Jordan A. Sutherland, 22, with a last known address of Steelville, Mo.

On Thursday a warrant was issued for Sutherland’s arrest for robbery in the first degree with a $250,000 bond.  He was later arrested in Pulaski County.
