Summer Events and Classes to Keep Your Kids Brain in the Game

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — If your child is thinking about taking the ACT next year, the Brentwood Library in Springfield is offering a free, four week series to help students improve their ACT scores.

Registration just opened today for the classes that will run on Mondays, from 2-4 in the afternoon starting July 16.

Students will learn tips for test prep and focus on their weaknesses.

Each week will have a different subject to maximize scores.

Another summer event for younger kids: You can now sign up for summer art camps at the Springfield Art Museum for kids ages 6-10 and 5-year-olds who have completed kindergarten.

All sessions run Tuesday through Friday and both half day and full day options are available.

You even get a discount for siblings attending.

Tomorrow, June 25, will kick off the camp with the theme titled, “Myths and Fairy Tales.”
