Statewide tornado drill scheduled for Tuesday morning

Statewide Tornado Drill Puts Storm Sirens to The Test_-7846200802499149129

MISSOURI — If you hear tornado-warning sirens on Tuesday morning, March 2, don’t worry it’s only a test.

Missouri holds a statewide tornado drill every year. That drill happens at 10 a.m. this morning.

Many schools will practice their emergency-response plans, and “weather-alert radios,” will also send a message.

It’s all part of “National Severe-Weather Preparedness Week.”
