Springfield Schools Offering Free Breakfast and Lunch to Children 18 and Under


SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Springfield Public Schools posted on their Facebook page Saturday saying they are providing a summer meal program.

24 schools in Springfield offered free breakfast and free lunch to “any child age 18 and under accompanied by an adult,” according to the Springfield Public Schools website.

Adults, however, have to pay $1.70 for breakfast and $3.15 for lunch.

This meal program will be available Monday – Friday from June 5 – July 31 and encourage participants to contact the school site for serving times.
