Springfield School bus involved in crash


SPRINGFIELD, Mo.– One local school bus was involved in an accident on Monday morning.

The bus was headed to Reed Middle School with 46 students aboard the bus at the time of the accident. Five minor injuries were reported and those students are being treated.

Springfield public schools chief communications officer Stephen Hall said parents were notified of the accident.

The accident happened near the school and students were escorted to the school.
