SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Springfield Police are investigating a break-in turned shooting that occurred Wednesday night.
The shooting happened around the 700 block of East Garfield around 10:30 p.m.
The suspect kicked in the door and shot a gun at two people inside.
A person inside shot back and called police. The suspect was hit and is now in serious condition.
This is still under investigation.
