Springfield man will receive sentence for burglary


SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A Springfield man connected to a series of burglaries back in 2017 is due in a Greene County courtroom this morning for a sentencing hearing.

Michael Cosey has pleaded guilty to two counts of burglary in the first degree.

One count of attempted burglary and one felony stealing charge after he and two others reportedly broke into homes in East Springfield.

Jason Bettendorf was sentenced to a combined 37 years for his role in the burglaries.
