Springfield-Greene County Library will begin summer reading program

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Springfield-Greene County Library is preparing to kick off the summer reading program on May 17. 

The program will help children to improve on their reading skills, participate in different activites, and recieve a free book. Throughout the program Star Readers will be able to earn different entries into the end of the summer drawing for a variety of prizes. 

Here are the age groups:

  • Tiny Tots – for children birth through age 2
  • Preschoolers – for children age 3 through 5
  • Kids’ Program – for children ages 6 through 11
  • Teen Program – for youth in grades 6 through 12
