Sequiota Park Zoning Decision Pushed for Two Weeks

Make It Count

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Those against a new development near Sequiota Park in southeast Springfield, will have to wait at least two weeks to hear what council members have to say about zoning for the property.

We have been covering this story since Aug. when people who live and work along Lone Pine Avenue began setting up signs, protesting new apartments in the area.

Last night, council members approved a motion to table this issue until the Oct. 22 city council meeting.

Last month, the developer requested more time to work with the neighborhood.
