Sentencing Today in Apt. Arson Case

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The man convicted of starting two fires in the historic Ambassador Apartments in Springfield is scheduled to be sentenced Friday. 

Dillon Gilbert, 24, pled guilty to two counts of first degree arson. He was a tenant at the apartment building at National and Elm.

The two fires happened back in May, 2017.  The Springfield Fire Department says the fires caused more than $40,000 in damage.
