Quiet Weather Sunday, Active Pattern Returns —

After a stormy, wet, and gloomy day as a line of showers and storms rolled through, temperatures tonight will drop into the upper 50’s and lower 60’s with a few clouds sticking around. There is a chance for a few lingering showers and storms. Any storms that become strong to severe may have the potential for some large hail and maybe some gusty winds.

Sunday, a lingering shower or two cannot be ruled out especially early in the day. Temperatures will top off in the middle 70’s with a mix of sun and clouds. Overnight lows will drop into the lower and middle 50’s.

Monday to start off your work week, we will stay mostly quiet. Temperatures will top off in the upper 70’s and lower 80’s with a mix of sun and clouds. I think our chances of shower and storms Monday night will be limited but still something to keep an eye on. Overnight lows will drop into the middle and upper 60’s with mostly cloudy conditions.

Tuesday is looking stormy. A line of showers and storms will push through in the afternoon from west to east. Severe weather cannot be ruled out with this line of showers and storms. All modes of severe weather are possible and this is something to keep an eye through the next few days and to stay weather about as well. Temperatures will have no problem topping off in the upper 70’s and lower 80’s. Behind that line of storms is cooler weather so overnight temperatures will drop into the upper 50’s.

Wednesday and Thursday look mostly quiet and warm with temperatures in the lower and middle 80’s and a ridge of high pressure sets up. We cannot rule out a few showers and storms in our northern counties on Thursday but timing is still something that needs to be locked down.
