SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The SAAF clinic in Springfield will stay open past today after getting some crucial funding.
We told you on Tuesday how the low-cost spay-neuter clinic was in desperate need of two things to stay open: Money to pay staff and a new vet to sign on beyond August 17, when the outgoing vet will depart.
The public came through with donations that will keep things going for now, but more are needed.
Plus a spokesperson says the clinic is still trying to hire a veterinarian.
