Rescue crews talk about hoarding hurdles

ROGERSVILLE, Mo.– On the same day a reality TV star visited the Ozarks to talk about the mental illnesses surrounding hoarding habits, local rescue crews are talking about how those habits can put your life in danger.

In short, the Logan Rogersville Fire Department says, more stuff in your home results in more kindling for a house fire.

For that reason, Lt. Blane Bias says often crews won’t even send in crews to put out the fire and will instead fight the fire from the outside using tankers.
