A Republican candidate for the Missouri Senate is facing criticism for calling feminists quote “she-devils.”
Courtland Sykes posted the comment on Facebook last week.
He also said that if he ever has daughters, he wouldn’t want them to become what he called “career-obsessed banshees.”
Along with that, Sykes posted that he doesn’t buy into what he called “radical feminism’s crazed definition of modern womanhood.”
Sykes is one of a handful of Republicans challenging Senator Claire McCaskill.
He has aligned his campaign with President Trump’s agenda.
