MISSOURI — More than 150,000 Missourians could soon have some extra money, thanks to a rate decrease from Liberty Utilities-Empire District Electric Company.

Residential customers who use less than 1,000-kilowatt hours per month will see an increase of more than $5 per month.

Liberty Utilities says this is because of a reduction in the corporate tax rate.

If you’re a customer, you’ll see the change take effect on Aug. 30.
