Record Attendance at Snow Ball Dance for Camp Barnabas

News

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The fifth annual Snow Ball Dance for Camp Barnabas was held Saturday night at Catholic High School.

Organizers expected record crowds tonight at the dance.

This event was held for adults with special needs, who were paired with one on one volunteers.

The night was filled with dapper-looking gentlemen and ladies dressed in their finest ready to dance the night away. It was $5 at the door and all proceeds went to Camp Barnabas.

Camp missionary director Shayla Jenkins says this dance means a lot for many campers.

“It’s just a night where our missionaries and campers can come and have a great time and make many memories,” Jenkins said.

Organizers say this event has grown significantly over the past few years and they are thankful for the support received from the community.
